My grandparents had a large and lush garden, a mix of vegetables and flowers, which taught me the beauty of the changing seasons and picked my interest for texture and foliage.

I studied floristry in Paris, then started travelling to nourish my style with different influences and cultures.

Founded by Andrew and Jordyn, Rabbit and the Bear started off in Tynemouth, United Kingdom as a daydream and a sweet little sketch. The idea of a  company that would harness all of our creative assets under one brand and produce exceptional wedding films in the process.

​Not a lot of people can say with their whole hearts that they wouldn’t change their job for the world. We are in the 1%, we are those people, we live and breathe weddings and think ourselves infinitely lucky that we get to share in the happiest day of your life.

The ‘oh-god-my-belly-hurts’ laughs, the tears, the hugs, the family, the friends, the kids, the pets, the quiet moments and the madness, the sun, the rain, the heat, the cold, the look, the kiss and the party. We love it all, every moment of every day and we love that we get to do it together.

Our passion is capturing beautiful and cinematic imagery, then cutting it together to tell a unique story and what story is more unique and beautiful than two people joining together for the rest of their lives? We have both been trained in the art of filmmaking and audio and bring our knowledge and creativity to each wedding we have the pleasure of filming. We are unobtrusive in our shooting manner and do our best to be a calming yet fun influence to you on your day.

Before your wedding day, we will take you on a coffee date where we can meet each other and get to know a bit about you and also to get a grasp of your style and what you might like. On the day we are on the ball and friendly but unobtrusive. We don’t think of your day as “just filming another wedding”, we think of it as creating something that you will watch and cherish for the rest of your life.

The biggest hit of the wedding was the food and the quality (and to mention the quantity of the share platters!!), where not a single soul was left hungry. With over 25 years experience Julie has worked nationally and internationally. After four years of professional hairdressing Julie worked for Channel 10, Melbourne for three years. She then went freelance in the fashion industry. She has worked doing hair and make-up on numerous celebrities and her work has appeared in many magazines, including, Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmo, Cleo, Girlfriend, Dolly and bridal magazines in Melbourne and Sydney.

Alex has been working in the beauty industry as a make-up artist and hair stylist since 2007. Her work spans film, television, editorial, runway and bridal.

Throughout her career, Alex has worked on music videos and live shows for artists including Kanye West, Jeff Martin, Thelma Plum and Sheppard. Alex was also a part of Network 7’s hair and make up team for over 4 years.

Alex trained as a professional make-up artist in Australia and in the United States.  Based in the Brisbane/Byron Bay area, she loves people and travels the world for beauty inspiration and to stay in touch with current trends.

I combine 20 years of performing live music with 10 years in weddings allowing me to create the perfect ambience during your most special day. I understand the important role music has to play in your unique wedding experience and I pride myself on performing your favourite songs to the highest quality.

From choirs to rock bands and from basement bars to world renowned concert auditoriums I have refined my craft. As a solo artist I have written and recorded songs that have provided the musical backdrop in areas as varied as marketing campaigns for leading fashion brands to live music venues.

I have had the greatest pleasure performing at couples’ weddings world-wide from the Scottish Highlands, London and Italy to beautiful Byron Bay, Australia.

My forte is to provide relaxed acoustic music, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment your guests arrive, to the emotional, intimate moment of your ceremony and the perfect laid-back vibe for afternoon cocktails.

The ability to play nearly any song in a live acoustic style allows you to tailor your soundtrack to how you have always imagined it would be.

If you are looking to take the energy up a notch once the sun has set, I can jump on the DJ decks to take care of all your first dance requests and when the formalities are over, back to back dance floor fillers will have your guests getting down and dirty on the d-floor.
